Thermo Scientific™ FHT 3031 CCM Conveyor Belt Monitor quickly and reliably checks large quantities of material for possible contamination using the Cobalt Coincidence Method (CCM). It is ideal for refurbishing or dismantling older nuclear facilities to ascertain whether materials may be released as ordinary scrap or as waste.

  • Sensitive Co60 contamination measurement also in fluctuating Co60 dose rate fields
  • Spatially focused detection of Co60
  • Simultaneous gross gamma counting
  • Continuous sample throughput by means of conveyor drive
  • Assembly comprised of measuring portal with belt conveyor drive, plus two roll conveyors on each side to load and unload the samples
  • Assembly controlled by the FHT 8000 measuring electronics fitted with a multi coincidence logic for the detectors 1 to 6
  • The group of detectors 7 to 12 is coupled to a second electronic that is serially linked to the master electronics
