Fast, Reliable Second Check Software

Expedite accurate second checks of patient plan QA for both brachytherapy and external beam treatments.

Intuitive Computing

After import of plan, structures and CT images; automatic effective depth calculations are performed to account for patient heterogeneity.

Structure Specific Analysis

Review your dose point variation aided by anatomical structures of interest such as the PTV or a critical structure for in-depth analysis of your plan.

Quick and Easy Plan Review

Field by field gamma analysis maps as well as histograms aid in focused plan review.

The Most Trusted Name in Second Check Technology

Supports external beam plans with wedges, photons, electrons, mixed photon and electron, FFF, cones, and compensators.

Thorough Stereotactic QA

Calculate and confirm cone-based or MLC-based stereotactic treatments, including conformal and dynamic arcs. Create specific beam models in the physics module to increase small field accurately.

Brachytherapy Plan Verification Module

Quickly and easily validate HDR and LDR plans. Review individual sources’ contributions and positions.

Comprehensive Plan Verification

Inclusion of a 3-source model provides accurate dose calculations, for both IMRT and VMAT. Point dose and MU verification as well as fluence comparison analysis.

3-Source Model

The 3-Source Model was developed at Stanford University to accurately calculate the contribution to dose from the head scatter no matter the field size, shape or the point of calculation in the field.

Sources

1: Primary Photon Source: Target
2: Scatter Photon Source: Flattening Filter
3: Scatter Photon Source: Primary Collimator

Illustration of a LINAC head

The red beam represents the primary photon source and the white lines show radiation scattered by the primary collimator and the flattening filter.

Dose Calculation Software

IMSure QA is dose calculation software that uses a 3-source beam model to calculate the contribution to dose accurately from all three of these sources as well as transmission through jaws & MLC.

Advanced Features

IMSure QA Software supports open beams, FFF beams, .decimal compensators, stereotactic cones & wedged beams, allowing you to streamline your plan QA.

In-vivo measurement support

IMSure QA automatically calculates an expected reading for a diode placed at the surface in relation to the isocenter or any valid calculation point. A printable comprehensive setup report allows for easy setup and reporting of measured results.

Multiple calculation points

Import unlimited points of interest from your treatment planning system or manually enter these for more complete plan evaluation.

CyberKnife plan QA

Quickly and easily validates monitor units and dose for Fixed or Iris Collimator plans generated using Ray-Trace or Monte Carlo algorithms.

Heterogeneity correction

Import CT images and structure set for automatic calculation of effective depths in IMSure QA.

.decimal compensator support

Utilizing a full convolution algorithm, IMSure models the scatter, beam hardening effects and field-size dependencies to calculate a true compensator factor for even the most complex .decimal filters.
