These BLOCKS & WEDGES are a part of the RAYCAST HP Head and Neck Solution and of the “AIO SOLUTION SETS”. They are used in combination with HP HEAD SUPPORTS, BASE PLATES and the EFFICAST PRE-CUTS to form a reproducible patient positioning and immobilisation device in the field of radiotherapy. In combination with the HP Head Supports, the blocks and the wedges offer a solution to position the patient’s head at various heights and with a range of extension or flexion angles.
The different parts of this set can be stacked and fit perfectly into one another thanks to the combination of complementary holes and positioning knobs.
The GFL blocks & wedges are constructed to be light in weight and to have superb dosimetric properties.
