The MDT thyroid protectors are supplied as standard in 0.35 mm or 0.5 mm Lead equivalence and are available in three models. The thyroid protectors are made of a flexible anti-bacterial PU fabric and are very pleasant to wear because of their design. All models are available with either Magnetic or Velcro Closure Available in 11 colours and embroidery of name or department is possible. From 2025 you can choose between OMNIA ULTRALIGHT (lead composite, our current material) or NOVUS LEADFREE (completely new). Both materials are lightweight and offer optimal protection against X-ray radiation.
